Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) announced that sales of its autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) rose 42 percent in 2021 compared to 2020 levels. In December, the company posted a single-month record, with almost 300 robots shipped.
“We grew significantly in 2021 despite component shortages as customers recognize the value of our safe, reliable and easy-to-deploy AMRs,” said Søren E. Nielsen, president of MiR. “We enter 2022 with strong expectations that growth will continue, and with a very strong order book.”
Based in Odense, Denmark, MiR develops and manufactures cobots and AMRs.
