Dual-shaft mixer Charles Ross & Son’s dual-shaft mixers are designed for moderately viscous applications. They are a good choice for batching materials such as filled resins, pigment dispersions, plasticizers, plastisols, polymer slurries, suspensions and emulsions.
What’s new? The Model CDA-25 double-shaft mixer.
Benefits Increased shear. This model mixer features a two-wing anchor agitator to provide bulk flow and uniform batch temperatures. Its second shaft has a high-shear rotor/stator — instead of a conventional high-speed disperser blade — to increase shearing and homogenization. Both agitator shafts of the CDA-25 have dry-running Double FlexiLip seals that can handle vacuum operations, and its portable mixing vessel has a heating/cooling jacket.
