Datacolor expands spectrophotometer line

July 16, 2021
The Spectro 1000 and Spectro 700 series of close-tolerance benchtop spectrophotometers is appropriate for performing color-quality-control tasks.

Spectro 1000/Spectro 700 These two series of close-tolerance, high efficiency benchtop spectrophotometers from Datacolor are designed for specifying and formulating colors as well as performing color quality control functions. They are suitable for use in a variety of industries, including plastics, and provide foolproof sample placement and real-time communication of measurements.

What’s new? Two new models, the Spectro 1000X and the Spectro 700V. The economical Spectro 700V has a vertical configuration to help users measure a wider variety of samples. The Spectro 1000X has an upward-facing aperture that makes it ideal for liquid, paste, powder and granular samples. Both models capture the temperature of the samples they measure. This feature is essential for materials that need to be within certain temperature ranges to assure accurate color measurement.

Benefits High efficiency and consistent measurements. The spectrophotometers’ configurations allow them to measure a wider variety of samples and handle high throughputs.
