CRE-580 Creform’s newest automated guided vehicle (AGV) tugger has a hitch directly affixed to its sturdy steel frame to meet the demands of industrial towing jobs. Each end of the tugger independently follows a magnetic guide path on the floor and can maneuver in tight spaces. It can travel up to 131 feet per minute and has a towing capacity of 4,400 pounds. The operator interface has a WiFi connection so it can communicate with offboard systems that are used to monitor the AGV’s position. A forklift can be used to lift the tugger for maintenance. The AGV is powered by two 12-volt rechargeable batteries.

What’s new? The CRE-580 AGV, which was designed to tow carts holding parts between a warehouse and an assembly area at an automotive supplier.

Benefits Versatility, affordability and safety. The magnetic tape guide path can be quickly and easily installed or changed to adapt to changing production needs. The tugger’s safety features include an audible warning device, a flashing light, a no-contact obstacle sensor and E-stops.
