BriskHeat offers silicone heating blankets

Feb. 5, 2019

Heating blankets BriskHeat has expanded its range of silicone heating blankets. The blankets are used to heat the sides of hoppers, tanks, vats and other vessels that require temperatures of up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit for freeze protection or viscosity control.

What’s new? An economy series that complements the company’s line of heavy-duty heating blankets. Blankets in the new series feature a heating element laminated between two layers of 20-mil-thick, glass-fiber-reinforced silicone rubber. In addition to the new product line, the company has expanded its ability to customize all its silicone heating blankets with holes, cut-outs and different configurations.

Benefits Cost savings and flexibility. The moisture- and chemical-resistant blankets are thinner than prior products, making them more flexible and aiding installation. Additionally, the new customization options make the blankets adaptable to a greater variety of equipment.
