Rigging attachments Columbus McKinnon has expanded its portfolio of forged rigging attachments for synthetic slings. Synthetic slings are used for lifting and moving loads in a variety of environments, including industrial, manufacturing and warehousing facilities.
What’s new? CM Quick Connect Hooks, CM Flat Eye Rigging Hooks and additional types of CM Weblok assemblies. CM Quick Connect Hooks make it easy to add load-attachment points to any synthetic sling, without additional hardware or assembly tools. They have large, flat, load-bearing
surfaces and recessed areas that prevent the sling from bunching or shifting. They allow synthetic slings to be used safely at full capacity and are color-coded to match common synthetic sling capacities. The CM Flat Eye Rigging Hooks provide a wide, smooth load-bearing surface that won’t damage the sling. The flat eye opening also eliminates bunching and pinching so that the sling can be used at full capacity. New for the CM Weblok line are assemblies for attaching one synthetic sling to another. The line now also includes products with a single retention pin system, instead of the usual double-pin system; this is an economical option for slings that aren’t subjected to extreme use.
Benefits Extended service life for synthetic slings and enhanced operator safety and convenience.
