BP520 Designed for installation on machines that require pressure safety devices, including extruders and injection molding machines, Dynisco's newest burst plug can be used by itself or in combination with devices such as pressure transducers and transmitters. It is compatible with PLCs and other devices that have a digital input that detects when a normally closed relay opens.
What's new? The ability to configure the burst plug to directly communicate with devices such as a process indicator. If the burst plug ruptures, the pop top will break the burst-indicator wire, triggering an alarm. Dynisco showed the device at NPE2018.
Benefits Immediate notification in the event of excess pressure within a machine. Also, the burst plug is designed to perform over a wide range of temperatures.
