E-stop switch Balluff's new emergency-stop switch can be used by OEMs and as a retrofit on existing equipment. It is suitable for both primary and auxiliary equipment, such as injection molding machines, extruders and conveyors. The switch has a plastic housing, a push button with a rotary release and a mechanical life expectancy of 60,000 switching cycles. The device can operate in temperatures from minus 13 degrees Fahrenheit to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and has an enclosure with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water.
