Arburg's new hydraulic vertical injection molding machine is ideal for the overmolding of inserts and filigree.

Allrounder 2000 T Arburg's new hydraulic vertical injection molding machine is ideal for the overmolding of inserts and filigree. The machine's servo-driven rotary table allows for the separation of insertion and parts-removal operations from the molding process.

What's new? The size. The new machine has a 79-inch-wide table and 2,000 kilonewtons, or about 225 tons, of clamping force. It joins a portfolio of machines with tables that have diameters ranging from about 31 inches to 63 inches. With the Allrounder 2000 T, Arburg has also modified the clamping design, moving the clamping cylinder above the moving mounting platen.

Benefits Ergonomics and efficiency. The machine, which comes standard with an ergonomic package, including blank holders on the rotary table and a combined vertical and horizontal light curtain, is suited for both manual and automated insertion of parts. With its new clamping design, the tie-bar-less machine requires a very small installation area and offers space for larger molds. The machine delivers precise and accurate injection.
