Three-layer crosshead DRTS’ crosshead allows pipe makers to manufacture PE, PVC and rigid PP pipes that feature a middle layer of recycled resin. It comes in many diameters, from 16mm to 630mm, for straight and crosshead configurations.

Benefits Versatility, and the ability to optimize the use of recycled resin. With the crosshead, manufacturers can limit the percentage of virgin resin they use to 20 percent while producing pipes that perform as well as others made entirely from virgin resin. And, in addition to being able to produce recycled resin layers sandwiched between virgin layers, the crosshead can add internal or external stripes to pipes or be used to make single- and double-layer pipes.
