Nordson to acquire NDC Technologies

Nordson Corp. has signed an agreement to acquire NDC Technologies Inc. from Spectris plc. The all-cash transaction is valued at $180 million.

NDC, Dayton, Ohio, produces measurement products, including near-infrared, laser and optical sensors, gauges and analyzers for sectors that include the film extrusion, film converting, cable and tubing industries.

This acquisition is further progress on our Nordson Ascend Strategy to achieve top-tier growth with leading margins and returns.”

Nordson, based in Westlake, Ohio, manufactures a wide range of products and components for extrusion and injection molding.
