Coastline representing Virtus

Recycling equipment maker Virtus Equipment, Crystal Lake, Ill., now is being represented by Coastline Plastic Machinery LLC of Palm Desert, Calif., in the southwestern U.S.

Virtus makes and sells shredders for plastic lumps and general-purpose, big volume and heavy-duty applications. Its granulator line includes slow-speed, compact, economical and heavy-duty units.

Officials with both companies said they will work together to expand their customer base, covering accounts including injection molders, recyclers, compounders, sheet and profile extruders, and rotational molders.
