Davis-Standard streamlines accumulator-head production

Davis-Standard LLC, which designs and develops extrusion equipment and converting technologies, now is making all sizes of its blow molder accumulator heads at its headquarters in Pawcatuck, Conn. The move means that Davis-Standard now performs design, assembly and testing in-house.

Production includes a 75-pound head that is being engineered for a U.S.-based customer, according to Davis-Standard. The company began moving blow molding head production to Pawcatuck in 2014 as part of an expansion of its in-house manufacturing.
