Ray-Ran Test Equipment joins holding company

The holding company that owns Testing Machines Inc. (TMI), New Castle, Del., has expanded its portfolio of instrument manufacturers with its acquisition of Ray-Ran Test Equipment Ltd., Warwickshire, England.

Karl Boone, who is CEO of Industrial Physics Row Holdings Inc., as well as TMI, says the acquisition will allow the company to expand its offerings in the plastics industry. Under its new ownership, Andrew Lineker will succeed Neil Rayson-Randle, the former owner of Ray-Ran, as the business unit's managing director.
