    Motion Industries

    The president and CEO of Motion Industries, Birmingham, Ala., has succeeded its longtime leader.

    After 37 years with the company, Chairman Bill Stevens retired March 1. Tim Breen, who has been the president and COO of Motion Industries since 2013, as well as the company's CEO since late 2014, when Stevens announced his retirement, has taken Stevens' role.

    Stevens began working at Motion Industries in 1978 and was the company's CEO for about 18 years. At various times, he also worked as COO for the company, which distributes industrial maintenance, repair and operation replacement parts. He was the recipient of the 2014 Bearing Specialists Association Lifetime Achievement Award.
