Bekum America promotes new manager of after-sales group
Bekum America Corp. (BAC) announced that it has promoted Terry Grost to manage its after-sales group. In his new role, Grost will oversee customer service, spare parts and machine rebuilds. He will report to company President and COO Steve London.
“Congratulations to Terry on this well-deserved appointment,” London said. “Terry’s 30-year successful tenure at Bekum is a source of pride for our entire team, and we wish him much success in his new role.”
Grost joined the Williamston, Mich.-based blow molding machinery manufacturer in 1993, developing his technical skills and over time mastering the company’s complete line of machinery, as well as helping to develop the skills of younger technicians. The company said Grost joins a long list of employees to rise through the ranks to management, with about 70 percent of its managers having climbed the corporate ladder.
“I am excited to begin another chapter of my Bekum America career as the manager of the after-sales group,” Grost said. “It has been an honor and a privilege to work with such a talented group of professionals.
