Amcor chooses VPs for N. America, Latin America

Amcor Rigid Packaging picks Dan Murphy for North America, and Rodrigo Lecot for Latin America.

Amcor Rigid Packaging announced it has chosen Dan Murphy as its VP of North America Operations and Rodrigo Lecot to serve as its VP and GM for Latin America.

Prior to joining Amcor, Murphy was VP and GM of engineered structures with Howmet Aerospace, a global supplier of components for aircraft engines and structures. Prior to working for Howmet, Murphy was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and served in numerous roles including as a naval aviator.

“Dan’s leadership will bring a new level of service to our operations,” said Eric Roegner, president of Amcor Rigid Packaging.

In 2016, Lecot joined Amcor as its regional VP in Latin America, where his duties included sales, marketing, R&D and sustainability. In that role he expanded the region’s use of post-consumer resin and sustainable packaging solutions and spearheaded glass-to-plastics conversions.
