Seco's new boring bars reduce vibration

Steadyline Featuring a selection of large-diameter turning and boring bars, Seco's line of vibration-dampening tools can be used in the production of any molds with long overhangs — areas that are hard to machine because of deep mold cavities. GL50 turning heads can be mounted on Steadyline bars.

What's new? New cutting diameter sizes of 60mm and 80mm, appropriate for the general machining of workpieces with overhangs of up to 600mm or 800mm, respectively.

Benefits Greater versatility for vibration-free machining. Steadyline products lessen vibrations, which increases accuracy and improves surface finish. By controlling vibration, they also protect the spindle and cutting tools.
