Mini Hercules Available in a single- or dual-head configuration, this accumulator-head blow molding machine from Graham Engineering has a 75mm smooth extruder and two auxiliary hydraulic valves as standard features. A 90mm smooth or grooved extruder and additional valves are options. The control system runs on a standard industrial PC, and provides 100-point parison programming for precise control of wall thickness.
What's new? The size. The compact unit is available with shot sizes of 2.5 pounds, 5 pounds and 8 pounds and is suited for manufacturing small industrial parts. The 15 foot tall Mini Hercules has a space-saving footprint of 15 by 11 feet.
Benefits Rapid color changes. The spiral paths in the diverter are engineered to create a material flow that results in self-cleaning action for a complete cleanout of the head in less than an hour, in most cases. Also, the platens are designed for easy mold removal.
