Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF) has moved its North American headquarters to a new, 7,000-square-foot facility in Maynard, Mass. The new location for the company, which specializes in precision stereolithography 3D printers, will house its sales, marketing, applications engineering and customer support teams, as well as provide space for printers for training, testing and customer benchmarking.
The company also expanded its footprint in China by opening a new location in Shenzhen, China, a 14,000-square-foot office with more than 40 installed BMF systems.
BMF officially launched its micro 3D printing system in the U.S. and Europe in February 2020, just before pandemic restrictions began. Despite these challenges, demand has risen; in 2021 the company saw global revenue rise and added more than 100 new customers, doubling its installed machine base.
